Here’s an example of just one of the Bully Free Me Techniques called “The Ring of Power”
It involves simple “Stimulus-Response” or what we call “Anchoring” in NLP. The participants recall specific, powerful, positive states and as they vividly recall the positive state, use a visual, kinesthetic or auditory trigger to “anchor” it. Later on the anchor can be “fired” or triggered and the body physiologically snaps right back into that powerfully positive state. A big piece of the Bullying experience is feeling bad. This technique helps students to get back into feeling good.
In the video I’m working with students from the Grammer School of Somerville CT. I apologize for the camera angle, the only kids you can see are the youngest ones but the group consisted of K-5 students. You can at least see that the program includes plenty of participation and movement.
