My name is Mark Shepard and for my entire childhood, from K-12 and well into my adulthood, I suffered from being bullied. I eventually discovered extremely useful, powerful anti bullying resources that enabled me to peacefully and positively stop bullying in my life.

Since 1993 I have been a professional storyteller and Musician performing in elementary, Middle and High Schools throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont & New Hampshire.

In 2001 I have began earnestly studying and applying the process model of human behavior called Neuro Linguistic Programming or NLP for short. The results were immediate and astounding.

In minutes I made changes that I had struggled for years to make. For example I stopped being shy. When we get together to discuss “Bully Free Me” for your school or organization remind me to share that story with you…

Inspired to learn more and share what I learned with others, in 2003 I received my certification as Trainer of NLP from the American Board of NLP.

I continue to do a variety of Arts In Education School Assemblies as well as practice NLP coaching with individuals who are looking for rapid and powerful solutions to personal challenges such as anxiety, phobias, self sabotage, low self esteem and more.

I also teach NLP and offer certifications on the NLP Practitioner and NLP Master Practitioner levels

Combining my history as a classic bullying victim, with my years of experience presenting school assemblies and my expertise in NLP has enabled me to create anti bullying assemblies, keynotes and programs that do a lot more than just preach at kids.

I teach students powerful, practical tools to stop the cycle that attracts bullies. No one teaches young people how to manage their emotional states and the thought processes that create behaviors that attract bullying. Until now.

Most anti bullying programs leave kids with the message: “Don’t be a bully!” But there will always be external circumstances and people in our lives who play the role of the bully. If I had known as a kid what I know now, I would have been able to thrive instead of having suffered and struggled throughout school.
